Who doesn't love the good old combo of peanut, chocolate and caramel? Personally I think these flavours go too well together. That's why I created this simple recipe vegan snickers slice recipe that doesn't just taste delicious but it is also packed with plant protein.

Servings- 12 slices

Ingredients :


1 cup of oat flour

1 cup of coconut flour

1 cup of plant based protein unflavoured( if you follow me on instagram I have tagged brand I use)

1/4 cup of maple syrup

1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter

Caramel layer

1 1/2 cup of soaked dates ( 30mins)

1/3 cup of coconut oil ( melted)

1/3 cup of plant based mylk

1/4 cup of smooth peanut butter


1/4 cup of peanuts ( to top caramel layer

Chocolate layer

1/4 cup of peanut butter

1 heaped tbsp of cacao powder

1/ 3 cup of coconut oil

Method :

1. Start by processing flours, protein powder and maple syrup in food processor then add PB and process again until well combined. You should get sticky dough texture.

2. Layer medium sized tin with parchment paper and transfer mixture. Press down firmly and evenly and place in freezer to set.

3. To make caramel layer add all ingredients for caramel layer to high speed blender and blend until smooth.

4. Transfer mixture on top of base layer and even out.

5. Top evenly with non salted peanuts and let set in fridge.

6. To make chocolate layer add all ingredients for chocolate layer into a blender( don't wash it off, leave left overs from caramel layer in blender as this will slightly sweetened your chocolate layer)

7. Blend on high until smooth and creamy and pour mixture over caramel layer.

8. Pop in freezer for 6 -8 hours!

9. Defrost for 15min and cut up into equal slices. Store in fridge or freezer.

10. Enjoy as snack or dessert !
